Makers

These folk who are makers and artists and creative souls have all allowed me into their world to capture their mahi toi. I love to photograph them as they work, almost as much as I love the undulating conversation and the companionable silences that accompany our sessions. Dexterous hands, expressive gestures, chaotic spaces - they all pull me in, and make me appreciate the process of imaginative and skilled craft.
